Reason for Applying: The priesthood has always been something that I have thought about. Ever since I was young, I have had the desire to give myself completely and unreservedly to the Lord. When I reached the end of high school, I decided to apply to the Archdiocese of Baltimore to become a seminarian. Though it was, at times, a frightening experience, the Lord gave me great peace about it. These past six years of formation and study have been an amazing adventure, full of the grace of God, awesome seminarian brothers, and unforgettable joys. The Lord is tremendously generous with those who follow His path!.

What does the priesthood mean to you: The priest is a man set apart, consecrated for service to the Lord. He is a man at the very heart of humanity, experiencing the joys and sorrows of every child of God, and sanctifying them through the Love of the Lord. He is a man passionately in love with God, a man with a deep faith in Jesus Christ, a man with confident trust in His Church. What a life it is to be able to bring about the Eucharist, or to forgive sins in the Name of God Himself! I hope that by the grace of God I might be able to live that life someday.
