Reason for Applying: I felt called to the priesthood for many years - although it took me a long time to act on that feeling.  Ultimately, I wanted to help people, serve the poor and grow closer to God.  The priesthood seems like the perfect vocation to accomplish all of those goals.  Plus, I feel at peace with the decision - so I am confident this is the avenue God is calling me to.

What does the priesthood mean to you:  The priesthood is an awesome vocation.  As a priest, you literally bring Jesus and His message into people's lives every single day.  You bring His compassion, mercy, truth, forgiveness and love to all of His children.  That is a massive responsibility and blessing all in one.
