What does the priesthood mean to you: The priesthood is a gift which is given to few. It is a spiritual fatherhood that demands sacrifice for your children, your parishioners.  It is a life-long commitment of love and a spiritual marriage to the bride of Christ, the Church. A priest is Simon the Cyrenian who takes up the Cross for Christ so that he may complete his journey and save us all by shedding his blood.
