Reason for Applying: I feel that my whole life has led me to pursue the call to the priesthood. I have a passion for service to God and to others.

What does the priesthood mean to you:  A priest is an individual who is called by God to serve the Church. The priest is an essential element of the ritual and sacramental life of the Church. Every moment of the priesthood is a challenge-it is a radical call to live uncompromisingly by placing God before all else, and to guide others spiritually in a world that often fails to recognize the presence of God. I value the role of a spirtual "Father," and I hope to act for others as a guide on the journey toward a deeper relationship with God. The priest is a leader, mentor, servant, and friend of the people to whom he ministers.
